RESEARCHING THE FAMILY OF EDWARD ROBINSON
Edward ROBINSON, who was born eight years after the end of the Civil War, died October 17,1979 in the Mercer County Home and Hospital of Coolspring Township, Mercer, Pa. He was a 106 years old. He was born January 1,1873,in Chatham, Virginia to Charles and Ellen Shelton Robertson.
Edward ROBINSON married Sarah Betty Inge in 1903. Sarah was born on July 2, 1882 in Chatham, Virginia and died on November 30, 1959 in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Both my grandparents are buried at the Oakwood Cemetary, Sharon, Pennsylvania.
My research is on the family members of Edward brothers and sisters.
Edward parent names were Charles and Ellen Shelton Robertson. My belief is that his parents were born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. In the Pittsylvania County Marriage, 1862..1875 by Mike Williams..it states that on 31 Dec 1871, Chas (Charles) Robertson and Ellen Shelton applied for a marriage license.
