The Lynn Family of Alabama

This is the Lynn family that settled in Alabama. Some of this information might not be exact, but it is in order as best as I could do. The Lynn Family migrated here from Ireland and I found them settled in Augusta county, VA, Mecklenberg county NC/SC and then on to Alabama. Some of the Lynn's served in The Revolutionary War. I am still working on this ancestry and will add more as time goes.

  John James Lynn (son of Andrew W. Lynn and Matlida Maples)1 was born 12 Dec 1845 in Morgan county, Alabama, and died 19 Aug 1904 in Little Vine cemetery Empire, Alabama Walker county. He married (1) America J. Allen. He married (2) Sarah A. Brown on 16 May 1880 in Morgan county, Alabama. He married (3) Barbara Chandler on 05 Feb 1885 in Cullman county, Alabama. He married (4) Artenia (Artie) Hassell-Seaver on 19 Nov 1888 in Hickman County, Tennessee. Notes for John James Lynn: After the death of his 3rd wife, he moved to Duck River, Hickman county, Tennessee where he met his 4th wife, Artena Hassell-Seaver. John James Lynn owned a large farm at Duck River, Tennessee. John James Lynn and Artenia moved to Walker County, Alabama in 1900.
