Moritz Kreter was born 1702 in Germany, and died 06 April 1772 in Buried in Fairmount Presbyterian Church Yard. He married Elizabeth Unknown on Abt. 1738.
Notes for Moritz Kreter: Legend has it that two brothers fled Germany to escape conscription in the German Army. John appears in Tewksbury Twp in 1756 but none of his descendants have been found. They are supposed to have gone to Canada. Morritz Creter (Moret Creeter) arrived in Philadelphia on Aug 19, 1729 on the ship Mortonhouse. Morritz was born in 1702 and died April 6,1772. He married Elizabeth, born 1706 and died March 18, 1771. Morritz bought 306 acres near Fox Hill Presbyterian Church Feb. 7, 1748, and 450 acres at Hacklebarney in 1762, and 150 acres at Pleasent Grove in 1752. He had children. His will probated 24 April, 1772, mentions children : Jacob, the eldest, to be taken care of by his brothers and sisters.
