Frederick Pickel (b. 1720, d. 04 April 1820)

Frederick Pickel (son of Johan Nicolaus Pickel and Maria Johanna Agatha Clemenz) was born 1720, and died 04 April 1820 in Tewksbury Twsp. He married Elizabeth Beem on Abt. 1750.

Notes for Frederick Pickel:
Died, on the 4th inst. iu- Tewksbury, near New Germantown, (N.J.)Frederick Pickel, aged 100years. "When he was 94.... he cut with a cradle 500 Sheaves of rye in a day. At 97 he went into the Woods and split 100 chestnut rails in less than a day. His widow is 90 and they have lived in the marriage state 70 years" ( True American, 1 May 1820) Copy of article is in possession of J.W. Roberts.
