Otto Valdemar Andersson was Jana's great grandmother's (Ida Marie Andersson Fredrickson)youngest brother born in 1884. From the research of Kai Hoffman "Otto Waldemar visited USA as an emigrant 1909-1911. He used to be a carpenter, but after moving to the city of Nykarleby in 1916 he became a 'gästgivare' (inn-keeper)". Jana's Grandmother recalled meeting him while he was in Seattle about 1910 when she was three or four.
