Photo taken mid 1930's? Willie was Jana's first cousin twice removed. He is credited in several accounts as being a big reason why Silver City, Idaho has retained many of it's old west buildings. He lived the hard winters in the Owyhee mountains by himself (even as an old man!) to protect his neighborhood from vandals. In 2002 there was an artcile that a car he built out of junk was housed at The Emu-Z-um (between mileposts 53 and 52 on Highway 78 in Owyhee County.)
