Tom's Dad - born 1917 Conrad, Montana to Charles Robertson and Mabel (Fey). Moved to Mount Vernon, WA as a young teen & graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1936 and attended Mt. Vernon Junior College. Walt served in the U.S. Navy from 1936 to 1938, then was a pharmacist mate third class in the Naval Reserve from 1943 to 1945.
He married Viola Andersen at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Mt. Vernon on Aug. 31, 1941. He was an X-Ray technician for St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Yakima and later the manager of the Xonic X-Ray Co. in Seattle retiring 1982. He died 1998 in Bellevue, WA.
