Tom's great grandmother Mary Jane Noakes was born 09 Jul 1861 in Verona, Oneida Co., NY to Caroline Wright and Nelson Noakes. She married rancher Jacob Clemons Fey 04 Jun 1884 in New York but they left shortly thereafter to the ranch in Montana where she had six children between 1885-1894. (Her third was Tom's grandmother Mable Clare Fey born in 1889). She died at age 43 on 30 Sep 1904 in Augusta, Lewis and Clark Co., MT
