Lasting Memories - Our Family's History

Updated September 5, 2000

My maiden name is Otterman. My family history goes back to Philip Null, who served in the Revolutionary war, and Ludwig Otterman. On my grandmother's side, I am descended from the Lilly's, a very large family. When I was a child, my father always said, "I have cousins by the dozens." John's family includes the Robbins, Tuttle, and Williams lines. His great-grandmother, Susan Collins, was said to have been a first cousin of John Quincy Adams, President of the United States. I am looking for more information on the father and ancestors of Wesley Robbins, born in 1828 in Ohio. His mother, Eliza Robbins married Philip Blodgett in 1832 in Franklin Co., Ohio
Our Family's History includes the following two branches:

Robbins, Tuttle, Marriott, Williams, Dorland, Hall, Collins, Cosad, Blodgett, Hetherington, Miller, Capps, Willis, Rhodes, Pace, White, Sparks, and others

Otterman, Groetecke, Walker, Sellers, Lilly, Null, Burnett, Brown, Jackson, Graham, Starr, Hodges, Reid, Powell, Westfall, Routh, Hutton, Harris, Pefley, Clark, Saddler, Pool, Harrold, Shope, Wegely, and many other lines.

I have much more information that I am entering into my data base, and will update my page from time to time.

If you have corrections, or more to offer, please be sure to contact me. I enjoy all communications.

At the moment, I am looking for information about a Bernard B. Willis, born in 1865 in Boston, Massachussets. His parents came from Germany and he was Jewish. He is thought to have died in the early 1930's in New York, and to have married a woman named Rose. If anyone has information about him, or where and how he died, I would like to hear from you.
