James L. Robbins

124 Meadow Glen Ln

Ovilla, TX 75154-1664

I am researching the Moffatt family of the Doddridge and Harrison Counties area of West Virginia and the Robbins family of north central West Virginia (counties of Harrison, Marion, Monongalia and others) and southern Pennsylvania (primarily Fayette County).

The Moffatt tree begins with James William and Phoebe (Fairchild) Moffatt. They were born in New Jersey in 1786 and 1793, respectively. Associated family names include Cottrill and Knight.

The Robbins tree begins with Joseph Jesse and Nancy (Cartright) Robbins. They were born in Pennsylvania in 1810 and 1815, respectively. Associated family names include Lemmon, Pyles, and White.
