John Mitchell Family of Brenham, Washington County, TexasUpdated October 6, 2007 | For five years I have been researching the Mitchell family from Great Britain to Texas. John Mitchell was born in Maryland and he first appears in the 1880 census, but I do not know where his family was before that. He married Lucinda Unknown of Alabama in 1860 and they had two daughters during the Civil War: Ellen and Millie. After moving to Texas they had one son, John and two more daughters: Susan and Louisa. Any information would be appreciated and know that I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
