Sylvester Newton Robinson (son of Jacob Newton Robinson and Myrtle Roseltha Thurston) was born May 24, 1909 in Red Fork, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma, and died December 04, 1983 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He married Lucile Ivis Barnes, daughter of Simon Peter Barnes and Ivy Nell Metzger.

Sylvester Newton Robinson: Social Security # 444-10-1621. Sylvester ( Bet ) Robinson worked in the coal feilds and on a farm owned by Charlie McKenny in Oologah, Oklahoma. Moved to Tulsa in 1943 and went to work for the Tulsa Board of Education where he retired in 1971 as the maintenance Foreman. After his retirement he and Lucile moved to a little farm between Childers and Centralia, Oklahoma where they lived until his death in 1983.
