| Greetings to one and all! I am researching the ancestry of Myers Robison, my Great Great Grandfather and Patrick Carty, my Great Grandfather. Myers Robison was supposed to be from or near McNairy County, Tennessee around 1830-1870. Patrick Carty was from or near County Leitrim, Ireland around 1840-1890. It is my hope that by sharing the knowledge I have about my ancestors that I will be able to acquire more information about my lines and, hopefully, provide information to those of you who are searching. I am fairly new to genealogy research, but it has become a hobby that I am totally fascinated with. Over the course of the past several months I have found relatives from both sides of the family that have a common bond to my ancestry. Thank you all so much for sharing with me. Hopefully through this Home Page we will be able to trace our families as far back as possible. Please remember that this a works-in-progress Home Page. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with the information that I currently have. I'll be posting updates as I acquire new information and find the time to post it. Please be patient. I have added some Related Links below. The Morrow County Website has a lot of interesting information, especially for those of us who had Robison and Carty ancestors in Morrow County, Oregon. The Tennessee Genealogy Website should be of interest to those of us who had Robison and Swain ancestors. The Bureau of Land Management-General Land Office Records is also very interesting. Select a State, enter a last name and select Search. You will be surprised how many of our ancestors will show up that purchased land through the BLM. You can also refine your search even further by entering a first name and a particular County.
