Neeces, Wolfes, Hulses, Shepherds, Van Meters & More

I've spent years working on finding my direct ancestors on both my father's and mother's sides. Until recently, my mother's maternal ancestors were the only people I had little difficulty discovering. However, with the addition of new databases on Genealogy/Ancestry.com, I have managed to find several more grandparents (to the 6th degree!) on all sides. Nothing is more exciting than finding that "lost" great-great-great grandparent!

I would be happy to share any information I have unearthed with others researching the names in my tree. I have a great deal of "first-hand" information on my mother's side from her mother's family Bible.

Recently a cousin found my page online and contacted me. We've had a wonderful time sharing information and family stories, and she has filled in a lot of blanks for me regarding the Wolfe side of the family. That's one of the great things about this website - finding those long-lost relatives!
