This database consists of my ancestors which predominantly migrated from Switzerland and Germany in the 1700's. These individuals were coming to America to escape religious persecution due to the practicing of their Anabaptist beliefs. Most of my ancestors originally settled in Lancaster Co., PA and migrated from there. Most ending up in Rockingham Co., VA while smaller groups ended up in Washington Co., Md and Wayne and Mahoning Co., OH.
