I am searching for any information concerning the James Roff family that lived in Ohio around 1800. James Roff Jr was born in Ohio around 1825 became an engineer on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. History of James Roff Jr and his family line in Baltimore, Md. is almost complete ,but very little is known about his father James and other Roff family members whose history is rooted in the rich soil of Ohio. I am looking for some help in locating information on James Roff in Ohio or any Roffs in Ohio which may have a family connection.
