Attended Wofford College in Spartenburg, South Carolina); then went to Chicago, and then to Louisiana. He ultimately became a medical doctor.
He entered Wofford in the fall of 1902 and graduated in 1906. He was a member of the Philanthropeans, and played right guard on the football team.
After practicing medicine for some time, he became ill with something that affected his mind, and ended up living near Tampa, Florida.
He his buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery on Hwy 52, San Antonio, Florida.
His death certificate lists his wife as Florence A. Rogers, and place of residence as 111 West Hollywood, Tampa, Florida. His occupation is listed as "tree surgeon". His parents are listed as Peter Henry Rogers and Mary Rogers, both born in SC.
