On the 1850 census his children are listed as Ann, Dew, Mary and Benjamin. WEBB, especially the ancestors of Isaac Webb and wife Polly of the North Carolina counties of Rutherford and the mountains of NC and Tenn. GREEN, GREENE, in the NC counties of Rutherford, Yancey, Mitchell, Burke. Seeking ancestors and descendants of Elijah J. Green and wife Ann ____. His son Robert P. Green (b. 1839) was my great-grandfather. Seeking to confirm family stories of Native American ancestry. INSCO(E), INSCORE, in the North Carolina counties of Franklin & Mitchell, and in Bentonville, Arkansas. I am seeking information on the possiblity of a family history of ovarian cancer. BOONE, especially the descendants of Daniel Boone's brother Israel who lived in the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains. I have quite a bit on this family that I can share. DENMAN, especially the family of MOSES DENMAN (born 1817)who married Maria Catherine Lounsbery and lived in the upstate New York area around Tompkins County (Ithaca vicinity). I am also attempting to connect this family to the REV. NICHOLAS DENMAN of Retford England who was a great-grandfather of King James II. OLNEY, especially ALEXANDER OLNEY (died in 1909)who married MARY G. RIGHTMIRE, probably around the Tompkins County New York area. I have a copy of a letter he wrote describing his trip to the Gold Rush in 1852. Very interesting! PUTNAM, info on any of the family from the Vermont (probably Windsor County) area. CHAMBERLAIN or CHAMBERLIN, especially the ancestors of DANIEL M. CHAMBERLAIN (b. March 6, 1832, d Feb. 26, 1914) and his wife MARY PATIENCE BOWEN (b. Dec. 5, 1839, d. Mary 23, 1909). They lived in Vermont around Barnard and Randolph. I am attempting to confirm family stories of Native American ancestry in either the CHAMBERLAIN or BOWEN lineage. |
