I am researching my Rogers family history. I have found that my family sailed from England to Jamestown, Virginia in 1635. I am a direct decendant of John Rogers (born 1617). John Rogers (1617 - about 1685) William Rogers (about 1657 - 1727) Joseph Rogers (about 1694 - about 1750) John Rogers (about 1714 - 1783) Josiah Hill Rogers (about 1745 - about 1813) George Rogers (about 1760 - after 1820) Henry Harper Rogers (1788 - 1843) Asa Graves Rogers (1818 - 1893) Asa John Rogers (1855 - 1928) Gordon Bishop Rogers (1885 - 1975) John Gordon Rogers Sr. (1928 - 2003) John Gordon Rogers Jr. (1958 - Present) I am currently trying to find additional information about Henry Harper Rogers, my 3rd great-grandfather, who was born August 29th, 1788 in Chatham County, North Carolina and died February 2nd, 1843 in Wilson County, Tennessee. I am also looking for additional information about my mother's family history (the Jones family). Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
