He married Centha Armilia Breazeale on March 06, 1879 in Ozark, Christian County, Missouri⁵⁶, daughter of John Jefferson Clark Breazeale and Elizabeth Kollock.

Pleasant Waldo called "P.W." was a retail merchant dealing in Flour and feed. He united with the Christian Church at Center Point. Services by Chaffin Funeral Home in Ozark, MO. He was a prosperous land owner, farmer and merchant in the Hopedale area just south of Springfield, although he lost most everything during the Depression as so many others did

According to the 1920 Soundex Census he was living on "Sycamore" street in Ozark, MO at age 65, wife "Midia" was age 60
