Apparently on 17 March 1919 land belonging to the James Cave estate of sold[Copy of Forbes.FBK.FBK] May have had a total of 11 children.( He may have had a twin, Elizabeth,( according to Cave researcher Hazel Johns Sade)

Information received from Sharon Staton gives Civil War military service as: James Cave was a pvt. in the 74th Reg't under Capt. Coleman. He enrolled July 31, 1862 in Springfield, MO Relieved Feb. 10, 1863, Union Army.
