This research has taken us to countless cemetaries, county offices, hundreds of e-mails, a few trips to Germany and even the opportunity to be a 'Principal For The Day' a few times at a Chicago Public School, named after my 2nd Great Grandfather! A love for family history has become an unhealthy obsession! ha ha We have met and learned about individuals that have made this journey worth while. So much so that I am currently around page 120 on a book about the work on it.
