Find Family

* The ROLLINS Genealogy Page*

Updated June 26, 2004

I am new to the hobby of family geneology, but am particularily interested in the ancestors of Robert Rollins, who came to Canada with his son, Edward, sometime between 1848 and 1858. They settled just north of London Ontario, and then moved West to Manitoba circa 1880, along with my grandfather, Francis (Frank) Rollins. Working on the railroad in Crystal City, Manitoba, there were eventually 11 brothers and sisters; all born in Crystal City before 1900.

In 1903 most male family members moved to the North West Territories, which would become the Province of Saskatchewan within 2 years. There, my father, Donald Edward Rollins, and I were born in the Estevan area.

If you have any information in this regard I would be most interested.
