| I am new to this. I am searching for information on George Washington Rollins, his father Epheriam (um) Rollins, or his father William Calloway Rollins. William is supposed to be a Civil War Vet.George Washington was born 12-2-1882 in LeRoy, Kansas. George's father was Epheriam(um), he was born 25 Nov 1859 in Missouri and died in his late 20's. William Calloway Rollins married a Margaret Riddle 27 July 1849 in Johnson County, Missouri. William and Margaret were in the 1870 census in Leavenworth county, Kansas but are both Missourians. Beyond that I don't have much of anything. Other family names are Hobert, Lampton, and Schweim(Michigan, but from Germany about 3 generations back) Hello again, recently I have been blessed to receive information on the name Lampton going back to an endentured servant in Maryland in 1690's. Cool stuff. I encourage all to share what they have and it will come back to you. Genealogy is a fun and addictive hobby. Through my wife we are related to several neighbors. FUN STUFF !!!!! |
