I am trying to find information on the Truss Family who settled in Trussville Alabama around 1816. They had 7 children, the only one I have any information on is Nancy Jane Elizabeth Truss, born12/30/1833. This birhtdate could be wrong, this would mean that her mother was 50 years old when she was born. I am also tring to find information on the Allman family which settled in Georgia around 1819, William, his wife Ellen Terry Allman and 4 children Thomas, Lorena, Sally, and Nancy. Next would be the Martin Family. Hans George Martin arrived in Philidelphia from Germany. He departed from Rotterdam stopping at Cowes, England, he settled in Pennsylvania. Elijah Martin born to George and wife (name unkown). Elijah married Mary Van Denberg and had three children. One of thier sons (name unknown)is the Martin my family line comes from. Elujah was a privaate in the American Revolution. He died c. 1819. The other side of my family tree would consist of the McDonnell's. Thomas McDonnell or McDonald was born in Scotland and married Thelma McBride who was born in Ontario, Canada. Thomas and Thelma both grew up in an orphange somewhere in Canada. Birthdates at this time are unknown. |
