I am researching the Rollin family history (my father's branch of the family comes from the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire, England). My Grandfather was Thomas Alexander Rollin born 1869. He married Eva Smith of Havercroft in October 1896, and his parents were William Rollin born abt 1832 and Emma Elizabeth Taylor born abt 1835. Thomas moved to Havercroft from the Halifax area, but I believe that his parents may have come from the Retford area of Nottinghamshire. Anyone who can provide any information on the Rollin family please get in touch.
