The information I have on the Pearson family was compiled by Mrs. Jo Pearson of Kosciusko Mississippi. She has done research on the Pearson family for many years. Mrs. Jo has documented all her sources and has done an excellent job. I hope to follow in her footsteps. The Rollins family history is being compiled by my mother-in-law, Peggy Rollins. Mrs. Peggy was the person who led me into the world of genealogy. She gave me the genealogy bug and it bit me! She has been working on the Rollins family history in Franklin County Mississippi and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Mrs. Peggy has also documented all her sources and done a great job. I am slowly putting her information into my family tree. I am doing research on my Floyd line, my paternal grandmother's mother was a Floyd, and have had a little luck finding info. Thank you Patsy and Bob for all your help! If anyone out there has any link to the Floyd's of North Louisiana and Mississippi, I would love to attend a family reunion or talk on the phone to any distant cousins. Also, I am researching my Brennan line, my mother's side of the family. They have lived in New Orleans Louisiana for the last five generations, so I have easy access to the records (I live in Baton Rouge). However, the first New Orleans Brennan's (and McCloskey's) came from Illinois and Canada sometime before 1879. John Albert Brennan, a native of Canada, married Susan Jane McCloskey, a native of Illinois, in New Orleans Louisiana October 3 of 1879. Their parents were present. I have had no luck finding any connections in those areas. I welcome any advice or information. I welcome any and all information regarding these names. Other names in my family tree include:Pearson, Wilson, Davis, Morgan, Bramlett, Brennan, McCloskey, Lincoln, Bayhi, Cave, and Gee. Please contact me if you have information you would like to share or if you think I have information you need. Good Luck and Best Wishes to all you researchers out there!
