| We are researching the Rønsen family from the area of Eidsvol, Norway. My Grandfather lived on the Rønsen farm in Norway until he left for the US around the turn of the century. He settled in Minneapolis, MN and shortly after married my Grandmother. My Father was born here but my Mother was born in Steinkjer, Norway. Her maiden name was Jøssund. We are also researching the following related surnames; Overn, Ostbye, Happel, Ward. As other related family names surface we will add them to our tree. Any assistance, information or direction will be greatly appreciated and we will gladly share our research with any member of a related family. |
