My West Jersey Ancestors include the following families, Draper, Johnson, Miller, Owen, Roberts, Elkin(g)ton, Austin, Warrington, Fisher, Shinn, Hancock, Collier, and many more which I am finding almost daily. Most of these families were some of the first Quaker families in Jersey.

At present I am researching to find an ancestor for Edward Draper who married Hannah Dicker at Salem Meeting circa 1780.
They had three children, Thomas Draper 1784-1853 had a twin sister and another sister born just before Hannah died.

Thomas married Martha Johnson in 1814.
Martha Johnson 1795-1852was the daughter of Josiah Johnson and Letitia Miller. Martha's sister was Letitia Johnson-Owen 1792-1883 Their youngest child born 1839, Martha Ann Draper was the mother of my grandfather Thomas Draper Warrington 1869-1946. Thomas married very late in life having children in the late 1920's, his brother William never married, his sister Cornelia married very late and died without issue.

I am also interested in the family of Alexander Draper of Northampton Co. Va. who came into Old Somerset Co. Maryland circa 1663 and settled a patent called Little Bolton. This Alexander married second Rebecca Boston, daughter of Henry Boston. This Draper family moved north into what is now Delaware during 1670's. They were "friends" with the Quakers and I am wondering if our Edward comes from this line.

I am willing to share what I have and look forward to hearing from others who are willing to share informaton with me.
