Notes for Sara Norman: Marriage book B: This is the certificate that I did on the 5th day of June solemize the rites of matrimony between Nathan A Brock and Sara F. Norman of Polk County in the state of Missouri. This the 7th day of July 1862, Thomas I Smith minister of the Gospel. Recorded July A.D. 1862 William Boren Recorder. Boliver Herald: Sept 12 1901..... J.Swadley and Pete Tiller accompanied by their wives of Alsup Green County were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. NA Brock last Sunday. OBIT: Sara F. Norman was born near Humansville in Polk county Mo February 05, 1843., died at her home in Polk County Feb 09 1913, age 70 years 4 days. She was married to N. A. Brock May 29 1862. To this union ten children wer born, four boys and six girls. Two sons and four daughters survive her. Her husband and four children preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted at the home by the writer in the presence of a large company of relatives and friends. Her body was laid to rest in the Brock Cemetery near the home where she lived so long.
