3. Marr record of Mathias Pereira and Ana Francisca (notAntonia Thomasia) I seem to think that this Ana Francisca as wife is the priest's error (this happens now and then with names) . What I seem to think is that the priest wrote Antonia Thomasia's mother, Ana Francisca, in place of the bride's name. Although she could be Mathias' second wife.. but I don't seem to thinks so. There are 40 years of missing marriage records in this time frame. Reason why one can't find the marriage records of Antonio da Rosa Semiao/Antonia Francisca and Antonio da Rosa/Francsica Rosa

However, in 1920, Manuel said he came over in 1890; so, who is the "mariner" found in Providence Directory on Gano Street in 1887? Is thi sthe Manuel Rose of this family OR could it be the missing father of Manuel who he lists in his marriage record to Maria Fraga?
