I am searching for information on my grandmother. Her name was Magdalena (Kolb) Rosin. Her birthday was 11/27/1886, was born in Neudorf, South Russia. She was married to my grandfather Jacob Rosin Sr., birthday 6/13/1881, born in Kassel, South Russia. They came to America in the spring of 1908. They settled in Scotland, South Dakota area. Moved in 1909 to North Dakota area. They homesteaded land 18 miles southwest of Hebron, North Dakota in Stark County. In 1917, they moved on a farm north of New Leipzig, North Dakota. In the spring of 1922 they moved to Bison, South Dakota. My grandmother passed away 4/22/1923, leaving 9 children. My father was only a year and a half old and the only information on my grandmother is her parents were Henry and Carolina (Flemmer) Kolb.
