My Ross Family of Western Maryland.
The patriach is William Ross born before 1755.
This gedcom file starts with Carolyn Mae Ross, born 1947, and goes back to William Ross, born before 1755.
William Ross, wife unknown, moved to Allegany County, Maryland and had nine children. Of these children are the descendants that reside in the Allegany County, Maryland area. Some of them moved to Ohio, Willshire County. And some moved to now West Virginia.
The foundation research was done over a ten year period by Perry William Ross.

His spouse and previous residence not known but it is believed that he camme from the Virginia. He was one of the pioneers that settled the Allegany County, now Garrett County, area of Maryland. William had nine children: William, Issac, Robert, Henry, John, Alexander, Keziah, James, Joseph.
