I am researching the Ross family from Nigg, Scotland. Philip Ross was born near Nigg, Ross-Shire on Cromarty Firth, Scotland about 1770. He married Jeannie Brown and they had three daughters: Margaret, Janet Jean and five sons: Philip, John, Alexander, James, William.
