I am Jim Roslund, Son of James A. Roslund and Doris Shanahan Roslund.Married to Sally Ames Roslund, daughter of Elizabeth Church Ames and Sidney L. Ames. We have three grown children, Sonya, aged 30 is a band director in Edmonton, Alberta and married to Pierre Alie. They have one daughter, Amelia Marie who is 3 and 1/2. Our son Eric S. Roslund, aged 26, is a mechanical engineer in Elkhart Indiana and still a bachelor. Our youngest Allathea, almost 25, is a system anlayst and still single. My father died at the age of 79 in Columbus and my mother is still alive, very alert and kicking at the age of 90. I am currently researching my mother's side of the family, beginning with Patrick Shanahan and Ellen Scanlan Shanahan, who arrived in this country in 1850 and came to Ohio where they settled on a farm in Delaware County. Both were from Ireland, County Kerry, and I am interested in their parents who remained in Ireland.
