I am researching the Bonello Family, Immigrants from Palermo, Sicily in the early 1900's.

I am also reasearching the Buzzetta Family, also Immigrants from Palermo Sicily in the early 1900's

All of my granparents immigrated to the US and settled in Detroit, Michigan. Most of the family members migrated to Sounthern California in the 40's. This is where my parents, who had orginally met in Detroit, were reunited and married in 1953.

The most illusive of my granparents was my Maternal Grandmother, Josephine La Curti (or La Court) who died in childbirth in 1940 at the age of 40. I have been unable to find her name on a ships passenger list. She is the only one who did not come through Ellis Island.

I have also been unable to locate a death record. I continue to search and have hope......
