Robert Rose was born in Scotland and migrated to the new world circa 1700. Robert came with six brothers and settled in Long Island, NY. His son, David, migrated to the old Fredrick County area around Berkley Springs. His son Jesse relocated to the old Western Reserve, now Ohio. I'm descended from Jesse, a Revolutionary War veteran and pioneeer, who lived to the age of 95. |
