I am researching the Giuseppi Colombo Family from Magnago, Varese, Italy. He was born Abt. 1836 and his son was Angelo Colombo born Abt. 1856 in Magnago, Varese, Italy. He married Marie Fare' the daughter of Stephano Fare' and Maria Pisani. Their son Giovanni Colombo born 1876 Married Angela Tapella born 1876 on 12/31/1899 in Magnago Italy in the Parrocchia S. Michele Archangelo. Giovanni came to America in 1901 to start a new life. Angela came to America in 1902. They made there first home in San Jose, California but the climate proved to be to hot for them so they moved to South San Francisco California where they remained the rest of their lives and raised their six children. Giovanni Rossi (m) Maria Angelina in Italy Their child Carlo Rossi (b) 1854 in Italy (m) Louisa Bottini in Italy. She was the daughter of Battisto & Theresa Bottini. Carlo & Louisa came to San Rafael, CA. in 1901. Their five children Battista, John, Natilina, Peter and Angelina also came and lived in San Rafael, Marin Co., CA.
