The Ross and Beck Families of Missouri

I am researching the family of James Joshua Ross, my great grandfather, from Springfield, Missouri and the family of Warren Leslie Beck, my grandfather, from Windsor, Missouri. It seems the maternal sides of the families were much better at documenting births and marriages and deaths.
