I am researching the ancestors and descendents of Norman K. Noah FERRIS. He was born about 1820 in New York or Canada. He married Harriet LAW. They migrated from New York to Greene County, Illinois about 1848. From there the family scattered to Colorado and Door County, Wisconsin. I am also researching the ancestors and descendents of Frederick Wilhelm ROSE. This family immigrated from Germany to St. Louis, Missouri about 1850. They moved to Colorado about 1880, back to Missouri about 1895, then to Los Angeles, California, about 1920. Frederick Wilhelm ROSE also spent time in the Alaskan goldfields from 1897 - 1901.
