* THE ROSSON / OVERSTREET FAMILY HOME PAGE*

Updated August 18, 2007

In 1955 the Rosson and Overstreet families were joined with the marriage of Lee H. Rosson and Mary Lou Rosson. This home page displays the effort to trace the lineage of both families back to their arrival in the United States. It is my desire to provide accurate information for future generations of our families. Although I try to provide accurate information, I have not personally proven all this information. You are invited to use this information as I do, for suggestions on where to go to find the actual proof of our ancestors births, deaths and placement at various locations at any given time. This is a working effort - the information will change as I add, subtract, prove, or disprove information.

In particular I am interested in anyone researching the Rosson line with a family oral history of Native American ties through the Ross family. The story passed through our family is that our name Rosson came from son of Ross or Ross' son. If your family had the same oral history, or you have proof of this tie, please contact me.

I wish you good luck and good searching. Feel free to contact me with any questions, corrections, suggestions, or family connections. I love meeting new cousins. Welcome to my site.
