Hugh Ross of Cumberland County, PA

I am researching Hugh Ross of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania who is reportedly the son of James or Hugh Ross of Northern Ireland, who probably originated from Scotland. The Celtic Heritage is predominate in our family, whose ancestry lies in Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland. They were Protestant in their religious faith, and, they served this land of ours in every war, starting with the American Revolution. In addition to the countries mentioned earlier, it appears that our Ross' were in PA, OH, IN, IA, MO, AR, and OK.
