Updated September 6, 2000

My family research has taken place since 1974 when my grandfather showed me an old family Bible. I was thrilled with being able to see all the relatives listed there and wanted to know more. In the process I have learned alot about history and the life my family has led. At this time alot of my "sources" thru the years have passed on. I am researching the following families:Searcy.....starting with William born in 1793 from South CarolinaSpencer....starting with Joseph A in 1846 died in OklahomaPuckett.....starting with Silas around 1860 from KentuckyRoss......staring with James around 1890 from Kalamazoo. MichReinbold....starting with Charles around 1820 from PATelford......starting with John S in 1810 from MissouriDeskins....starting with William S 1812 from MissouriThe Searcy family moved from South Carolina to Illinois to Wisconsin to Tenessee to Missoui and then to Oklahoma. The Spencer's lived in Missouri and entered Oklahoma at the opening of the Cheroke Strip.Ed Puckett entered Oklahoma from Kentucky while it was still Indian terrioty and later became Sheriff of Beaver County Oklahoma. The rest of the Puckett's including his father Silas stayed in Kentucky.I have alot of "old" family photos and plan on including them in the family tree program as soon as I get that far.If you have information or need information on any of these individuals or just want to see if a member of your family is listed just send me a name with dates and I will check for you. I hope to have the tree uploaded before long for viewing.
