| The earliest ancestor of the Luttrall family, that I have found is ELIAS LUTTRALL, born early 1800's in Tenn. Elias was in Green Co. Wisc by 1838, where he owned property and worked some of it as a mine. Elias was married to the widow Eliza Hale (maiden name unknown) on March 22 1840. Two children were born from this union, John Luttrall born 1840 in Wisc. Margaret b1843 also Wisc. Elias died around 1845 and Eliza married a Lemuel Cary/Carey. From this union at least three children were born. Elizabeth Cary b1847 in Wisc. Isaac Cary b1850 in Wisc. and Charlotte Cary b1853 in Fannin Co Texas. The Cary family along with the Hale and Luttrall children moved to Fannin Co. Texas around 1852. ELIZA was also born in Tenn in 1808. Her first husband's name was possibly Nicholas Hale. Hale children were William Hale b1833 Nancy J Hale b1835, Martha Hale b1839 and Isaac Hale b1837. I believe most of this family lived out their lives in Texas. However the only one that I have complete information on is JOHN Luttrall b1840. John married Emaline Tucker in 1870 and settled in Jacksboro Texas. Would be happy to share any information that I have. |
