I was born in Donegal and have lived in Scotland, Canada, and Brazil before coming to USA in 1974. Have been doing family research for over 30 years. My grandfather was one of 39 cousins and I have fairly complete records of the descendants of about half of them. I also have some other data of families that came from the same part of Ireland but I have not been able to positively tie them directly to my own family. I have over 7000 names in the computer. Have attended family reunions in Australia, New Zealand and New Jersey and have published a book on my family and other related and unrelated families. I am looking for other family members who probably came from Scotland to the North West of Ireland before going to Canada, Australia, New Zealand or USA. |
