When Eileen and I were married, the following families came together -
Routt, Bailey, Ferguson, O'Neal, Carroll, Hale, Harter, and many others as you will see in our family trees.
We have, at this time, 2 children, 10 grandchildren (3 of whom are deceased), and 6 great-grandchildren (this is subject to change in March 2010).We are both retired and a great deal of our time is spent on family research.
My interest in family history grew from hearing family stories during family get-togethers over the years; from going through old pictures and records of family members who have passed on.
My family includes Bailey, Ferguson, Reed, O'Neal, Routt, and many others, some of whom were politicians, doctors, lawyers, preachers, farmers and so on.
Most of them migrated from Ireland, England, Germany and many other locations across Europe, the first arriving in the United States in the early 1500's.
Any information which might benefit me in my venture will be very much appreciated; also, I am willing to share my information.
