Harris & Rosa Routman came to the U.S. from Vilna, Russia, where they
were both born, in February 1, 1903. They traveled from the port of
Rotterdam, Holland on the ship Rotterdam and arrived at the Port of
New York later in 1903. They brought with them their five childern
Bessie, Louis, Jennie, Sam and Goldie.
He declared his intention to become a U.S. citizen on December 2, 1903
in the Court of the Southern District of New York. He was granted his
naturalization on June 23, 1911 in the court of Mercer county, PA. His
witness was Meyer Frank.
On his naturalization record his occupation is listed as a Junk
Dealer. and his residence was at 75 Sharpsville Ave. Sharon, PA.
