Notes for Nathan Routman: Nathan graduated from Sharon High School in 1922 and from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1926. He received his degree in law from the University of Pittsburgh three years later. he opened his own law practice in Sharon In 1929. Nathan was admitted to the bar in Mercer County and qualified to practice before both the state Superior Court and Supreme Court, also the U.S. District Federal Court and Supreme Court. He was past president of the Mercer County Bar Association and a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Association. He was a member, director and past president of Temple Beth Israel in Sharon, PA. He was also a director and past president of Shenango Valley Jewish Federation, a member of B'nai B'rith, the Zionist organization, was a director of the Jewish home for the Aged in Pittsburgh. He was a past master of Sharon Lodge 250. Free and Accepted Masons and past high priest of Norman Royal Arch Chapter 244.
