Notes for David Routman: David Routman 1903 Heywood St.Farrell, PA died at 10:30 am Friday Jan 21, 2000.in John XXIII Home, Hermitage. He was 89. The 1928 alumus of Sharon High School attended the University of Pittsburgh. David began his career in the grocery business at the former Nathan Rosenblum & Co., Sharon, PA in 1978, working in its sales department. He later owned the Golden Dawn grocery store on Thornton Ave., Sharon for 15 years. He was a member of Temple Beth Israel and the Will Nathan Chapter of the B'nai Brith, both in Sharon. His first wife, the former Helen Margolis, whom he married Sept. 1, 1934 died Aug. 29, 1972. Surviving are: his wife the former Fannie Berkowitz Pearlman, whom he married Aug. 23, 1974; two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Jackie) Hoff, Colonia, NJ, and Roberta Dymond wife of Dr. Ross Dymond, Gathersburg, MD; a stepson, Barry Pearlman, Farrell, Pa; amd a step daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Lois) Brown, New Milford, NJ; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and four step grandchildren. David was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Sharon, PA. David was a salesman for the Golden Dawn Food Co. in Sharon, PA for most of his adult life. He later on had his own grocery supermarket on Thornton Ave. in Sharon, PA.
