Have been building the Ruffing and Uselman family files for about 15 years, now. It seems they all came over from Bavaria and/or Germany in the early 1800's with settlements in Wisconsin, Nebraska etc. There are many Ruffing families that settled in Pennsylvania but I can't tie them together because the relationship seems to fall back to Europe. My history files do not go back to the "old country"! Would like to be in contact with a family member, so we could pass ideas.
